We have many small groups that CONNECT church members with each other to share, build and strengthen their relationships and Christian understanding. Some groups are social, consisting of a meal followed by light discussion. Other groups are more structured with a focused study purpose.
If neither of these types interest you, then check out our SERVE groups. These groups typically meet to complete a task that emphasizes putting others before self, benefiting our church, it's members, our community, or world. Whatever your interest, we have a group for you to better CONNECT with and SERVE others.
Purpose: This book reading club is composed of Christians who like to get up early. They typically read one fiction or non-fiction book a month and then meet to discuss it over a light continental breakfast.
Meeting time: Sept thru June, 8:30-10:30am, 1st Tuesday of the month in members homes
Leader: Sarah Jane Hisey
Purpose: Single adults and couples are welcome to attend these groups. The groups meet at members homes or the church on a selected Saturday night of each month except July and August. The planned pot-luck suppers are followed by lively discussion on topics of interest to the group. Members share responsibility for hosting and leading the discussion in a safe and loving envrionment. Those interested are encouraged to make a one year commitment to this small group ministry.
Meeting time: Selected Saturday of each month at dinner time in members homes and/or church setting.
Leader: Nancy Gillespie (coordinator) – Contact the church office if you would like to participate in this small group ministry
