Neighbor to Neighbor. Help us to help our community.
November: We are collecting small containers of personal hygiene items such as shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, etc, (hotel or travel size) for the Renton YWCA.
Please bring donations to church and place in the Narthex, or make checks payable to RUMC with "Renton Schools" written on the memo line. Thanks.
NOTE: Click the WEEK tab at upper right of calendar to see more than 6 items per day.
Renton United Methodist Church is now part of the Reconciling Ministries Network which means, "We celebrate God’s gift of diversity and value the wholeness made possible in community equally shared and shepherded by all. We welcome and affirm people of every gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation, who are also of every age, race, ethnicity, physical and mental ability, level of education, and family structure, and of every economic, immigration, marital, and social status, and so much more. We acknowledge that we live in a world of profound social, economic, and political inequities. As followers of Jesus, we commit ourselves to the pursuit of justice and pledge to stand in solidarity with all who are marginalized and oppressed." Pledge Offerings and Donations: Send only to: Renton UMC PO Box 629 Renton WA 98057. DO NOT send directly to the church.
