Care groups

CARE groups have a primary interest in caring for the physical and emotional needs of our church and church family.  Activities include but are not limited to supplying meals on a temporary basis, writing cards, visitations, building maintenance etc.  These groups meet at a variety of times and places.  Our CARE groups currently include:

Chore & Chortle:
Do you like to fix or repair things?  This group of men and women meet every Tuesday morning at 8:45 to do general maintenance work on the church facilities and grounds.  Work tools are typically supplied by the group members and on the job training is not uncommon.  The gathering typically meets for a couple hours and includes pastries, coffee, sharing of joys and concerns, a short prayer and then work.  Email Tom Jenkins if you would like to SERVE our church in this way.

Can you cook?  This group of women offers to temporarily prepare salads or meals to members in need during life changing events.  Events such as births, serious illness and funerals are examples of these life changing times.  All that's needed is a caring heart and willingness to prepare a meal entree, side dish or dessert.  EmailCarole Berg if you would like to SERVE our church in this way.

Every Wednesday at 11am at the church, the SEEKERS meet. This dedicated group of women join together for fellowship, and they send cards to those in need of comfort and celebration. Contact the church office at 425-255-5403.
